The inspiration. Hella Kurth - a WW II refugee, cancer survivor, and yoga practioner who was never at a loss for words when it came to the beautiful struggle inherent in a meaningful life.
hOMAge finds its inspiration in the letters of this sensitive and wise woman who reminds us to look to nature for the inspiration to be your most expressive and generous self.
Based on correspondence between Hella and her granddaughter over a 15-year period, hOMAge is the story of a young woman sorting through her physical and mental clutter to find her voice. What she uncovers is the truth about her past, and how to take those lessons to make her own work.
An original collaborative, devised piece combining an epic storyline with personal experience.
